HEC does not release old HAT papers. It publishes official sample papers for its HAT categories that show the real format: verbal, analytical and quantitative. Most "HAT past papers" you find online are remembered questions. Below is how to practice with real style questions for free.
What we used to build our HAT papers
- HEC official sample papers for Engineering, Management Sciences, Arts and Humanities, Medical and General: 30 questions each.
- 71 remembered questions from past HAT tests, shared by students. We worked out every answer ourselves instead of trusting the shared answers.
- Practice questions written in the same format to fill each paper to 100 MCQs.
Every question has an explanation, so you learn why an answer is right, not just which letter it is.
Mock papers by category
- HAT-1 papers (Engineering, CS, Maths, Physics)
- HAT-2 papers (Management, Business)
- HAT-3 papers (Arts, Social Sciences, Law)
- HAT-4 papers (Agriculture, Biology, Medical, Media)
- HAT General papers (Religious Studies)
A warning about "past paper" answers online
When we checked remembered HAT questions shared online, we often found the shared answer was wrong or the options were mixed up. That is why we worked out every answer again. If you use papers from other places, do not trust the answer key blindly. Check the working yourself.
How to get the most from papers
- Do a full paper with a timer.
- Note your score in each section: verbal, analytical and quantitative.
- Practice your weakest section with short practice sets for 2 to 3 days.
- Then do the next full paper and compare.
