HEC does not publish old USAT papers. What it does publish is an official sample paper for each group, which shows the real style of questions. Many "USAT past papers PDF" online are remembered questions, not official papers. Here is the honest way to practice with real style questions for free.
What is real and what is not
- HEC sample papers: official, made by HEC to show the format. These are the best guide to the question style.
- Remembered questions: students write down what they remember after the test. Useful, but the options and answers are often wrong.
- Practice questions: written by teachers or websites to match the format. Good for practice if the answers are checked.
What we did on Tayar Karo
We took every question from the HEC official sample papers for all 6 USAT groups and put them inside our mock papers. For Pre-Medical, we also added questions from a real USAT Pre-Medical paper from Fall 2023, with every answer checked on its own. Then we filled each paper up to the full 75 MCQs with practice questions written in the same style.
So you get:
- 20 full mock papers for each group (120 USAT papers in total)
- The real time limit of 100 minutes
- An explanation for every single answer
- All of it free, no payment ever
Mock papers by group
- USAT-E Pre-Engineering papers
- USAT-M Pre-Medical papers
- USAT-CS Computer Science papers
- USAT-A Arts and Humanities papers
- USAT-GS General Science papers
- USAT-COM Commerce papers
How to use past and sample papers the right way
- Do each paper with a timer, like the real test.
- Do not look at answers until you finish.
- Read the explanation of every wrong answer and write the lesson in a notebook.
- Do the same type of question again the next day in a practice set.
In my opinion 10 papers done this way are worth more than 50 papers done in a rush. Read the USAT paper pattern so you know what each paper should look like.
