How to check your USAT result
- Go to etc.hec.gov.pk and log in with your email and password.
- Open your USAT application from the dashboard.
- Your result and score will show there. Download the result card and save it.

What does your USAT score mean?
USAT is scored out of 100. Unlike HAT, there is no single HEC-set passing mark for all universities. Each university and program has its own merit formula. A score of 60 is generally considered competitive, but the cutoff depends on:
- Which university you are applying to
- Which USAT group you took (USAT-M, USAT-E, USAT-CS, USAT-A, USAT-COM, USAT-GS)
- How many applicants there are that year
Ask the admissions office of your target university for their minimum USAT score. Do not guess from last year's cutoff alone as it changes each year.
USAT score and federal university admissions
USAT is used mainly for admission to HEC-funded federal universities in Pakistan (like NUML, Air University, Federal Urdu University and others). If you are applying to a provincial university, check whether they accept USAT or run their own entry test.
You attach your USAT result card when you apply to a university. Keep a digital copy in your phone and email so you have it ready.

HEC releases the answer key on the ETC Announcements page around result day. If you feel any answer is incorrect, check the announcement page to see if HEC is accepting objections. When they do, there is a short window to submit. Follow the instructions in the announcement exactly.
If you want to improve your score
